This accession consists of material pertaining to the Smithsonian Institution Task Force on Latino Issues created to improve the Smithsonian's record on Latino employment and recruitment as well as its record on Latino programming and collections. The task force was created in 1993 and lasted for one year. Materials include various memoranda, photographs, press releases, proposals, letterhead, lists of members, faxes, reports, publication drafts, final publications, news clippings, pamphlets, brochures and annual reports.

Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of materials pertaining to the Smithsonian Institution Task Force on Latino Issues created to improve the Smithsonian's record on Latino employment and recruitment as well as its record on Latino programming and collections. The task force was created in 1993 and lasted for one year.
