Summary

The accession consists of one 1890 cased miniature portrait of George Brown Goode (1851-1896), ichthyologist and administrator of the United States National Museum, by A. M. Turner. The portrait was donated to the Smithsonian Institution by Charles Whitney Dall, a descendent of William H. Dall, a noted American naturalist (refer to correspondence, Suratt to Dall, 10/17/1967).
