- The Udvar-Hazy Center Planning Office was created about 1996 to prepare for the National Air and Space Museum's occupancy of the Museum's new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia. The office was responsible for developing plans, requirements, and specifications in the new facility. Phase I of the move was completed with the Center's opening in 2003. Phase 2 of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center began in 2008 and was completed in 2011. Phase 2 included the Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hanger, the National Air and Space Museum Archives, the Collections Processing Unit, the Emil Buehler Conservation Laboratory, and a collections storage facility.
- Linda Neuman Ezell was appointed as project manager for the office and served 1996-2005. It appears that the Udvar-Hazy Center Planning Office closed sometime around 2013.
