Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of records that document the administrative activities of Peggy A. Loar, Director (1981-c. 1991) regarding Smithsonian traveling exhibitions sent on international tour. As a result, in recent years, international tours are fewer and usually confined to Canada and Australia.

Materials include correspondence, memoranda, budgets, brochures, clippings, reports, publicity materials, invitations, facilities reports, label text, itineraries, notes, and related records.
