This accession consists of audiovisual records created during the production of "Smithsonian Expedition Specials." This television series, produced around 1994, included the episodes "Source of the Mekong" and "Elephants of Timbuktu." The series was co-produced by Hearst Entertainment for broadcast on the Arts and Entertainment Network. Materials include VHS and 3/4" U-matic tapes.
