Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of records that document the development and execution of the exhibition Ed Ruscha [June 29-September 17, 2000] featuring the work of Edward Ruscha. The exhibition, curated by Phyllis D. Rosenzweig, curator of works on paper at the Hirshhorn, organized the show in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, England. Once the exhibition closed in Washington, D.C., it went on tour to Oxford, England and Wolfsburg, Germany. Materials include agreements and contracts, budget records, correspondence, checklists, final draft of the catalog, floor plans, and installation records - including photos (annotated xerographic copies), label text, research materials, and related material.
