Materials include bound inventories of the art collection signed and sealed by Freer and Smithsonian officials, and copies of inventories. Some records are duplicated in the records of the Office of the Secretary (Record Unit 45); and in the Charles Lang Freer Papers located in the Freer Gallery of Art Archives, and the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Library.
