This accession consists of audiovisual records created during the production of "Census: Accounting for the Nation" and "Environmental Jazz Room."
"Census: Accounting for the Nation" is a 5-minute film completed in 1974 shown as part of the 1976 exhibition, "We the People." The film is a history of the census animated by Film Polski. Materials include 16 mm and 35 mm release prints, 35 mm negatives, 35 mm music, 35 mm narration, and 35 mm final audio mix.
"Environmental Jazz Room" is a 4-minute film finished in 1969, shown as part of an exhibition about New Orleans jazz bands. Materials include 16 mm original camera rolls, 16 mm prints, and 1/4" audiotape. A few 16 mm preservation copies are also included.
