Smithsonian Annals, 1987-1990
The Office of Special Projects seems to have existed from 1987 through 1989, reporting to the Museum's Deputy Director. One of the office's principal responsibilities was to coordinate a self-study that the National Air and Space Museum undertook in 1988 while seeking accreditation from the American Association of Museums. The office head was Brian Duff.
