This accession consists of records documenting Curtis W. Sabrosky's work as a representative of the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature. Included are files relating to the development of the First International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, 1961; the Colloquium on Zoological Nomenclature, International Congress of Zoology, Copenhagen, 1953; and the Colliquium on Zoological Nomenclature, International Congress of Zoology, London, 1958.

Historical Note

Curtis Williams Sabrosky (1910-1997) was an entomologist who specialized in Diptera, especially Chloropidae. Sabrosky worked at the Systematic Entomology Laboratory of United States Department of Agriculture and at the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Entomology.
