This accession consists of records that document meetings of the History of Science Society's, Executive Committee. Materials consist of briefing books prepared for each meeting. The books contain an agenda, minutes of the last meeting, and reports of the various sub-committees and officers. Records also include correspondence in reaction to the "Greene Report" regarding possible changes to the staffing, organization, and operations of the office of the Society's Executive Secretary (a copy of the report can be found in folder 3 of the Spring 1997 Executive Committee briefing book - item 14 "New Business"). Materials include correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, notes and related materials.
