This accession consists of records that document the administrative activities of Don E. Wilson, Director (1990-2000). The bulk of this accession consists of records documenting the activities of the Biological Diversity Program's BIOLAT (Biological Diversity in Tropical Latin America) project. Materials include proposals for research projects, reviews of proposals, awards of funding for proposals, budget information, information on conferences, and administrative memoranda and correspondence. Records are in Spanish and English. Of particular interest is a brief history of the BIOLAT project, prepared by Terry L. Erwin; two major training programs in Bolivia and Peru; and the Rainforest Worshop (1991). Materials include brochures, budget records, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, memoranda, proposals, and reports.

Descriptive Entry

These records document the administrative activities of Don E. Wilson, Director (1990-2000).
