Noah; the Property Clerk for the Bureau of American Ethnology; Frederick William True; Charles D. Walcott; and the Assistant Chief Clerk, J. Louis Willige. Materials pertain to time and attendance, confidential correspondence created or maintained by the Chief Clerk's office, reports from the Legislative Clerk (consisting primarily of copies of Congressional information), general memoranda, applications for employment, printed labels for Smithsonian expeditions, printed circulars (perhaps collected by George Brown Goode), rules on leave (created or maintained by Richard Rathbun), records of a federal government conference on employee handbooks (attended by John Enos Graf), and a list of visitors or collection of signatures (unidentified and undated).
