Summary

Consists of records documenting the ad hoc Space Requirements Planning Committee in the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), primarily created by Division of Physical Anthropology Curator T.D. (Thomas Dale) Stewart. Stewart was Chairman of the Space Requirements Planning Committee when two additional wings were added to NMNH. The records document planning for the distribution of space to NMNH departments based on their space, storage, and facilities requirements. Records include memoranda, notes and blueprints.
