Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of records that document the work of the Exhibits Editors' Office in the Office of Exhibits Central dealing with permanent exhibit halls and special exhibits. Some of the Smithsonian museums and offices that are represented in this collection are: the International Gallery, National Museum of Natural History, the Office of the Secretary, the Resident Associates Program, and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service. The office also worked on exhibitions for outside clients, including: the Architect of the Capitol; The Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson, Nashville, Tennessee); the National Capital Planning Commission; the Supreme Court; and the White House.
