Summary

Consists of records that document the planning and development of an interactive CD ROM by the National Museum of American Art (NMAA) under the leadership of Nina Tovish, New Media Producer and Learn Technologies, Inc. The interactive CD ROM project was based on NMAA's permanent collection and developed as an interactive electronic component to compliment and suppliment the new printed permanent collection highlights catalogue. Although it would suppliment the printed catalogue, it could also stand alone and function as an "informative virtual exploration of the museum." Materials include functional specifications, notes, meeting agendas, correspondence, memoranda, schematics, workflow schedules, images of screen displays, and CD ROM's. Some materials are in electronic format.
