  • The Department of Drawings and Prints was established in 1946. It is responsible for the care, storage, cataloging, and study of its holdings. It also provides information on its drawing and print collections to users.
  • Staff of the Division have included Elaine Evans Dee, Curator, 1968-1989; Gail S. Davidson, Acting Curator, 1990; Marilyn F. Symmes, Curator, 1991-2002; Caitlin Condell, Curatorial Assistant, 2012-2015, Assistant Curator and Acting Head, 2015-2017, and Associate Curator and Head, 2017- ; and Julie Pastor, Research Cataloguer, 2016-2018, and Curatorial Assistant, 2018- . In or around 2013, the name of the department was changed to the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design Department adding the discipline of graphic arts to the department.
