Summary

Consists of records documenting the Smithsonian Priorities Conference held at the Belmont Conference Center, during the tenure of Robert Angus Brooks. The purpose of the conference was to review the progress of Smithsonian programs during the previous year and recommend administrative and managerial steps to improve and enhance Institutional performance. Materials include six reel-to-reel tape recordings and 14 cassette audiotape duplicates.
