Summary

Consists of records documenting budgetary administration of the National Museum of American History (NMAH) under Roger G. Kennedy, Director, 1979-1992. Materials include incoming and outgoing correspondence and memoranda pertaining to Federal and Trust Fund budget submissions, allocations, year-end requests, and final account balances; private gifts and grants; NMAH renovation and restoration; and Congressional hearings. Records also include Trust budget worksheets, quarterly budget reports, information and financial records pertaining to special projects and exhibitions, minutes of meetings, and personnel files.
