Historical Note
Mary Dora Rogick (1906-1964), an invertebrate zoologist, received her Ph. D. from Ohio State University in 1934. In 1935, Rogick was appointed to the faculty of the College of New Rochelle in New York. She remained at New Rochelle her entire career, eventually rising to the rank of Professor. Rogick's research specialty was the taxonomy and ecology of marine Bryozoa.
Descriptive Entry
These papers consist of classroom and laboratory notes, lists, and a bibliographic card index from Rogick's research on Bryozoa; biographical information on Rogick; and photographs of Rogick and colleagues, including Ray S. Bassler and Raymond Carroll Osburn.
