Anton Schrammen Collection, 1919-1920
Anton Schrammen (1869-?) was a German paleontologist. He unsuccessfully attempted to sell a collection of fossil sponges to the United States National Museum (USNM) in 1919.
This collection consists of a catalog of Schrammen's collection of fossil sponges and correspondence and copies of correspondence documenting his attempt to sell the specimens to the USNM. The catalog and some of the correspondence written in German.
