These records pertain mostly to fur catch and big game inventory statistics compiled for the Fur Catch in the United States and Big Game Inventory published by the Fish and Wildlife Service. Prior to 1958, Frank G. Ashbrook compiled the statistics for the Fur Catch publication. Since then, the Bird and Mammal Laboratories, located in the National Museum of Natural History, have compiled figures for the report. Statistics for the Big Game Inventory are likewise compiled by the Laboratories.

Descriptive Entry

These records pertain mostly to fur catch and big game inventory statistics compiled for the Fur Catch in the United States and Big Game Inventory published by the Fish and Wildlife Service. Prior to 1958, Frank G. Ashbrook compiled the statistics for the Fur Catch publication.
