The Offices of the Director and Deputy Director, National Museum of History and Technology (NMHT) maintained these photographs as a reference file. The majority of the photographs document the history of NMHT and its predecessors; included are views of exhibits, buildings, events, and some specimens. Some materials date to when the museum was part of the United States National Museum and from when the museum was known as the Museum of History and Technology.
