Abstract

This item contains data on samples obtained during Vema, Theta, and Yelcho cruises. A summary sheet states, "for the most part biological sampling has been carried out from the R/V Vema; in 1956 a second vessel, Thea, was employed, and in 1961 and 1962 a Chilean vessel, Yelcho, was used". The following data elements are recorded in these logs: station number, coordinates,date (d/m/y), time (in, out), minutes on bottom, core number, camera station, hydro. station uncorrected fathoms, corrected depth in meters, oxygen ML/Liter, salinity 0/00, bottom temp (°C), gear.
