The present one concerns the schooner Joseph Manta of Provincetown, starting her trip on December 10, 1900 and suffering a total loss during this first trip because of a cyclone. The total loss of schooner, officers and crew, on October 9, 1903, was reported on an entry of the log book. A note "S. list, 10/20/1903" was added, as well as a stamp "May 26, 1927."
