Abstract

This field book is part of the animal research data of the Division of Zoological Research of the National Zoological Park (U. S.), which conducted research documenting the toque macaque of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The research was mostly performed by Research Associate Wolfgang P. J. Dittus, Director of the Smithsonian Primate Biology Program in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The present folder includes: 61 color slides (in four leaves of 20 pockets) showing animals, apparently tree shrews as handled by researchers, marked "Frank Kohn" and "Tupaia Tana"; ten strips of negatives on two leaves, pages 311-312 cut out from a publication on AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers‏) Board of Directors, on which appear notes on and a photograph of the zookeeper Frank Kohn; two contact sheets of animals in a laboratory or zoo.
