Abstract

This field book is part of the animal research data of the Division of Zoological Research of the National Zoological Park (U. S.), which conducted research documenting the toque macaque of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The research was mostly performed by Research Associate Wolfgang P. J. Dittus, Director of the Smithsonian Primate Biology Program in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The present folder contains printed loose leaves with birth logs for studied macaques, organized by groups and showing name, sex, class , name of mother and estimated birth date for each macaque through 1989. Each leaf is dated 02/09/90.
