Abstract

This field book is part of the animal research data of the Division of Zoological Research of the National Zoological Park (U. S.), which conducted research documenting the toque macaque of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The research was mostly performed by Research Associate Wolfgang P. J. Dittus, Director of the Smithsonian Primate Biology Program in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The present folder contains loose leaves with printed lists of infant male and female animals who died or disappeared. They are organized by year, name and sex and show census age on October 1st of the year. Years range from 1974 to 1987.
