Abstract

This field book is part of the animal research data of the Division of Zoological Research of the National Zoological Park (U. S.), which conducted research documenting the toque macaque of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The research was mostly performed by Research Associate Wolfgang P. J. Dittus, Director of the Smithsonian Primate Biology Program in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The present folder contains loose leaves, photocopies of census data, ranging from 1992 to 1993, and organized by year, month, troop of animals and their names. On the back of leaves are additional data on births, deaths, emigrations and immigrations.
