Abstract

This field book is part of a collection of field notes of Janice Clark (1948- ), who has been a carcinologist and collections manager at the Smithsonian Oceanographic Sorting Center and the National Museum of Natural History between 1973 and 2003. It includes field data records for the Invertebrate Zoology Department of the National Museum of Natural History during a trip to the Aldabra Islands. The records are dated from March 27 to April 13, 1987. They show fields and stations numbers, locality, habitat, in some cases depth of water, and lists of collected species.
