Abstract

Joseph Rosewater (1928-1985) was a malacologist in the Division of Mollusks at the National Museum of Natural History. He joined the International Indian Ocean Expedition to Singapore and Colomb, Ceylan, which took place in 1963 on the schooner Te Vega, to research the marine fauna in the Indian Ocean. This folder includes six typed leaves giving the list of stations of the Te Vega schooner during the expedition, linked to the corresponding field research site, the date, the latitude and longitude, and the locality of research with the names of mollusks specimens that were found there.
