Abstract

The item consists of a list of Allard's specimen no. 18561-19020 collected in the course of his work in the Dominican Republic from January 1948. Dated specimen entries include locality, scientific or common name, and notes regarding growing conditions. Localities matching specimen no. ranges are indicated on the inside the front cover and include: a pine forest near Piedra Blanca, various locations in and around Ciudad Trujillo (now known as Santo Domingo), Loma Campana, and Jaina Beach.
