The item consists of a list of Allard's specimen no. 17000-18560 collected in the course of his work in the Dominican Republic from November 12, 1947 through January 1, 1948. Dated specimen entries include locality, scientific or common name, and notes regarding growing conditions. Localities matching specimen no. ranges are indicated on the inside the front cover and include: Piedra Blanca, Ciudad Trujillo (now known as Santo Domingo),and Constanza.
