Abstract

This is a set of two cards, filled on both sides. The range of years is inferred from the label on the box containing all the sets of card files. They contain notes and measurements of researchers recording ornithological data for the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center. These two cards include the species of observed birds (blue warblers, designated by the initials "BW"), initials and number for the plot on which the observations were made (possibly in New Hampshire, as for other sets in the box?) as well as its grid coordinates, numbers for bands and nests, and notes on behavior of birds that are dated only by month, day and time.
