Abstract

The field data documents work completed by Harald Rehder with Richard L. Sixberry relating to marine invertebrates in Polynesia during 1963-1966. The loose sheets contain descriptions per station numbers that include a combination of location information, date, time of day, description of habitat and vegetation, wildlife present, specimens collected, and sometimes description of work completed and names of colleagues. Station numbers vary in structure. Also contains maps with notations, notes on shipments and live materials, and a table of data for gastropods from Patutoa [Tahiti]. Locations include but are not limited to Rotuma Island, New Hebrides Island, Loyalty Islands, Tahiti, and Raiatea. Documents accession no. 254735 for Department of Invertebrate Zoology at the National Museum of Natural History.
