Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 2056 documents sea bottom specimens collected from Lynn Canal, lower part including Saginaw Channel and Favorite Strait in southeast Alaska during May 19 to June 10, 1890. The party was commanded by Lieut. Com'd'r. H. B. Mansfield, U.S.N. The table of data contains dates, section nos., locality, fathoms, and notes. There is a note at the bottom of the second sheet to also see sheets nos. 2055 and 2057, and that soundings in red are reduced for tide.
