Abstract

The color photographs document the field work of Neal Smith while studying gulls in Nunavut, Canada, circa 1959-1960. Some photographs are stamped on the verso with the date developed, but do not include captions. Subject matter includes terrain, campsites, candid images of participants, specimen collecting including methods, meals, bird specimens,, vegetation, microscope views, egg specimens,. Some photographs have description in the images.
