Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Quintana Roo, Mexico, February 4 - March 4, 1994; August 5 - 13, 1995; and September 27 - October 1, 1997. Contains brochures, loose notes, and loose sheets of field notes. These are dated, headed with location or route, followed by narrative style entries that contain travel details, weather, notes on mist-netting, habitat, lists of birds seen (common name), and work completed. Also contains tables of data from mist-netting that list species name, quantities for numbered days, and totals, as well as a list of Maya words and phrases taught to Lynch.
