Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Australia during July 27 - September 18, 1992. The loose sheets contain dated entries, that are headed with location or route, and followed by narrative style entries. These contain travel details, work completed, routes traveled, lists of birds observed (common name), weather, and description of field work. These include location information, time of day, bird banding and netting information, transmitter number (if applicable), description of birds seen (type and characteristics), habitat, and hand drawn maps of sites. Also contains list of birds seen during previous visits to Villa Marina, notes on birding in North Queensland, and bird list for Australia August to September 1992.
