Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Western Australia and New South Wales during September 4 to October 28, 1990. The notebook contains travel details, hand drawn diagrams with notations, and notes on field work. These contain observations of birds (type, age, sex, quantity), description of habitat, time of day, notes on bird banding, and the use of transmitters. Some entries contain narrative style content about work completed. At the end of the volume are tables of observation data from a census.
