Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Australia during September 5 to October 24, 1990. Work was conducted in Western Australia. The loose sheets contain dated entries, headed with location information, followed with narrative style entries describing weather, work completed, lists of birds seen (common name and quantity), travel details, foraging observations, and hand drawn maps of localities. Also describes issues using transmitters placed on birds for field study. There is also a table of data relating to results of playing [recordings of] bird songs for Golden Whistlers, as well as daily bird lists bird counts, and point counts for birds at Newholme State Forest.
