Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Australia during November 14, 1988 - December 29, 1988. The notebook contains lists of expenses, travel details, dates, and observations of birds in habitat. Some entries are more narrative in structure, dated, and list bird species seen (common names), characteristics and behaviors of birds and other wildlife present, drawings of birds with notations, routes traveled, descriptions of numbered "Earthwatch" sites relating to a bird survey, and lists of observation data for transect surveys.
