Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in New South Whales and Queensland, Australia, during August 30 to October 15, 1988. The notebook contains dated entries with varying content. Some are headed with location information, followed with tables of data recording observations for transects. They describe location information, birds seen (common name), as well as their relative location and behavior. Other entries are narrative in structure, and provide descriptions of birds, habitat, and vegetation, with hand drawn diagrams of sites.
