Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Yucatan, Mexico, during January to February 1986. The title page states that work was completed in Quintana Roo during January 28 - February 26, 1986. The pages describe "discreet goals" for field observations, including point surveys, data on detectability, mixed flock composition and movements, absolute density of HOWA and KEWA, foraging behavior, and prey availability in difficult habitats. Entries contain data for point surveys, notes on weather, observations of bird foraging behavior, descriptions of habitat, and bird lists with counts.
