Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Yucatan, Mexico, during January 31 to March 8, and November 29 to December 21, 1985. Trip notes are headed with location information/habitat description and dates, followed by narrative style entries. The first trip was to study migratory birds in Yucatan Peninsula. Entries describe travel details, work completed, weather, habitat, observations of wildlife, and bird lists (common name). The trip notes end with a list of birds seen during the entire trip to Quintana Roo, Campeche, and Chiapas. The second trip was to study ecology of migratory birds in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Entries are similar in content and structure to the those of the first trip.
