Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Yucatan, Mexico, during November 22 - 30, 1984, and January - February 1988. The entries for November 1984 are dated and includes an entry that is organized by mileage number, sometimes followed by location information, time of day, description of habitat, and work completed. This is followed by a reserve bird list with common names for birds in Xian kaan [Sian Ka'an], and point surveys that include information about time of day, habitat, and list of birds (common name). Entries for January - February 1988 contain tables of data recording bird observations; entries organized by mileage number with information similar to 1984 entries. Also contains a layout of ant baits.
