Abstract

Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Barro Colorado Island [Panama], July 30 - September 1982. The notebook contains dated entries, that include travel details, lists of birds observed, work completed (netting), types of birds caught and their sex as well as other characteristics, and observations of ant behavior. Some entries are headed with scientific name of ant, followed by description of behavior. Also contains station data, and data tables for ant behavior relating to type of bait (sugar or tuna).
