Abstract

Field notes document James Lynch's study of ants at Chesapeake Bay Center for Environmental Studies (CBCES), during February to September 1976. The notebook contains a variety of entries: tables of data on ant baiting which are headed with date, weather, time of day, transect number, followed by a table listing distance and bait type (sugar or tuna); recruitment data; and narrative style entries describing work completed and observations of ant colonies.
