Abstract

The seven envelopes of color photographs document the field work of James Lynch during September 1996 in Kenya. Images have captions on the verso; they are sometimes extensive. Plants are identified by scientific name. The first envelope is empty. The second envelope contains images showing Boma sites, landscape, close up views of vegetation and camels; the third, images of cattle, Boma people, and their village, vegetation; the fourth, a netting site; the fifth, images of netting sites and Mpala; the sixth, images of woodland at the Mpala Research Centre; and the seventh contains photographs (many without captions) that show colleagues preparing netting sites, close up images of birds, terrain, and vegetation. The images of plants are identified on the verso.
