Abstract

The notes and drawings document William Holmes' field work in Guatemala City, Guatemala, during 1895. Drawings depict buildings, sculpture, pottery, and landscapes shaped by the remains of buildings and other structures ("ancient mounds"). Drawings frequently have descriptions, and sometimes dates and measurements. Also contains field notes for February 28th at the Guatemala city site.
